Pre-K & Kindergarten

Daniela Rodriguez Romo

My name is Daniela Romo. I have been married to my best friend for 10 years. We have a precious four-year-old daughter named Alicia and a five-year-old coonhound dog named Charlie Brown. I earned my Associates Degree in Early Childhood Education from Georgia Northwestern Technical College. I am currently enrolled at The University of West Alabama to earn my BA degree in Special Education.

As a child, I spent many hours playing mother and teacher. For the teacher role, I would place each of my dolls and stuffed animals in different rows. With the help of my grandfather, I would make a mini notebook for each doll, stapling each page together. I had a whiteboard. I would mark activities I did in each notebook to make them realistic, and then I would grade each one.

A few weeks ago, I was officially ordained by the Idaho Conference of the Seventh-day Adventist Church as a lead teacher for preschool and kindergarten. Since I began my career, my goal was to work for the Church in a school of the same, this is the beginning of my dream job, I am grateful to God for opening this door for me and I pray that it is the beginning of a career of much more professional growth, but above all that, the beginning of a professional path that brings me closer to Christ and allows me to serve my church, community and the little children.
